Evelyn Gonzalez

Evelyn Gonzalez has been working in Higher Education for over 9 years at Palo Alto College. Her first 3 years at Palo Alto College, Evelyn served as a Work-study student and then became a Part-Time employee in the Welcome Center and worked her way up once receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas A&M-San Antonio. For the previous 4 years Evelyn has proudly served as a Certified Enrollment Coach in the Welcome Center at Palo Alto College.

While working in the Welcome Center Evelyn has truly found her passion in assisting students daily and helping them become one step closer to making their dreams become a reality. Growing up on the south side of San Antonio, Evelyn values building relationships with students and families from the same community that she grew up in as they begin their journey at PAC. Evelyn feels honored to be in the position she is in that allows her to give back to people from her community because she strongly believes a first-rate education should be accessible to anyone.

Understanding that students want a better and brighter future for themselves, and their family is the most rewarding part of her job because she is a part of that process from beginning to end. Evelyn looks forward to continuing her success and serving the PAC community for many years to come!
