Project REACH is designed to support:
- Returning/Former Students: Individuals who previously attended college but stopped out.
-
- Foster Youth: Students currently in or formerly in foster care (including those who aged out or were adopted from foster care).

- Pregnant & Parenting Students: Individuals who are actively raising a child or children.
- Financial Support:
- Funding assistance (if needed and eligible).
- Guidance on navigating financial aid and scholarships.
- Student Support Services:
- Referrals to on-campus resources like tutoring, writing centers, and academic support labs.
- Connection to advocacy services and emergency aid.
- Guidance on college policies and procedures.
- Mentorship & Community:
- Opportunities for mentorship from senior advisors or other college staff.
- Connection to a supportive community of peers with similar experiences.
- Parenting Student Specific Support (if applicable for NVC):
- Referrals to free childcare options or resources for student parents.
- Holistic Support:
- Discussions and referrals for broader student needs (e.g., housing, food insecurity, mental health resources) as assessed by Senior Advisors.
- Access to NVC's orientation materials via Canvas to familiarize students with college resources.
- Navigational Guidance:
- Assistance in navigating holds, and student accounts.
- Personalized support to help students overcome barriers to registration and completion.
