Calling Public School Classroom Teachers

2025 Scobee Teachers' Academy

July 28 - July 31, 2025, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The 40 teacher cohort has been formed.  A wait list is being created with any public school classroom teachers who register at this time.

This free, catered, four-day, professional development experience will provide hands-on activities provided by the Scobee staff and area professionals from The Boeing Company to provide insights and engaging, simple to deliver hands-on activities that will inspire science, technology, engineering, and mathematics career pathways for your students.  Following their experience, participants will be expected to provide mini workshops at their respective schools to help spread the information learned within their school community to create a broader impact on students.

In addition to the teacher kits, 3D printers, and activity resources, each teacher will be provided with the pre-mission training materials to register their classes for Challenger Learning Center and Santikos Micronaut Center simulated space missions.  Success proven center field trip logistics and pre-mission activities specific to these missions and their related planetarium programs will be provided.  Teachers authorized to schedule these trips will be permitted to do so for dates in September and October of 2025 ahead of most classes registering for the new school year.

This experience is limited to 40 teachers and is filling up quickly! Participants completing the four-day program will receive 24 CPE Hours.

Public school classroom teachers may add their name to the wait list by  registering at:
