Global Expeditions

The Office of International Programs is now accepting applications for its first Global Expedition to Querétaro, Mexico, happening from September 10–17, 2025. This immersive experience will deepen students' understanding of art's role in shaping and reflecting society on a global scale.
 
Full scholarship opportunities are available to help cover hotel accommodations, airfare, in-country transportation, cultural visits, and some meals.
 
The program and scholarship application deadline is August 1, 2025.
 

Important Travel Information:

A valid passport is required for international travel. Please ensure your passport has at least six (6) months of validity remaining beyond your departure date.

2025 Expedition: Querétaro, Mexico

Querétaro, Mexico - El Pueblito, Municipio de Corregidora

In September 2025, selected students will travel to Querétaro, Mexico, to explore the powerful intersection of art and global citizenship. This immersive, week-long experience will deepen students' understanding of art’s role in shaping and reflecting society on a global scale.
 
Travel Dates: September 10–17, 2025
Eligibility: Currently enrolled Alamo Colleges District students
Application Deadline: August 1, 2025
Scholarship Notification: August 15, 2025
Passport Submission Deadline (if selected): August 25, 2025
 
Application Guidelines:
Select one of the following formats to apply for a full or partial scholarship to participate in the 2025 Querétaro, Mexico Global Expedition:
  • Option 1: Written essay (500 words or more)
  • Option 2: Video (up to 5 minutes)
  • Option 3: Artistic submission with an artist statement (150–300 words)
