Graduate Spotlight: Suzanne Meegan

Suzanne Meegan is graduating with an Associate of Applied Science, pre-majoring in Culinary Arts. Her love for the kitchen began in childhood, inspired by her grandmother, who introduced her to cooking and baking. For Suzanne, the kitchen is a safe space where she can create and share joy through her food.

During her time at St. Philip's, Suzanne earned a valuable internship at Nadler’s Bakery. Upon completing her degree, she will join their team full-time, which is a significant step toward her goal of becoming a pastry chef.

Suzanne is also a Strada HBCU Scholar, a prestigious honor awarded to just five students at the college. This experience, along with mentorship from Randall Dawson, Vice President of Student Success, has shaped her path to success. After graduation, she will pursue a Bachelor’s in Hospitality and Event Management at UTSA.

Suzanne will give the Invocation at St. Philip’s College’s 52nd Commencement Ceremony. Congratulations Suzanne!
