Student Trustee - Josiah Rodriguez

Josiah Rodriguez is a San Antonio College (SAC) student with a 4.0 GPA studying Political Science. He plans to transfer to the University of Texas at San Antonio to pursue a bachelor’s and master’s degree.

At SAC, Rodriguez is actively involved in campus organizations such as Phi Theta Kappa, the Honors Academy, and the Student Government Association and serves as President of First Gen.

When not involved in school-related activities, Rodriguez works as a substitute teacher, attends public hearings at City Hall, and volunteers with community organizations like Strong Towns and River Aid San Antonio.

As Student Trustee, Rodriguez is committed to fostering collaboration across Alamo Colleges District campuses and advocating for greater opportunities to help students overcome barriers in higher education.
